Tony is a professional wood carver who worked for five years at Arthur Brett, a respected maker of the highest quality fine English furniture. In addition to providing carved details for the production of new furniture we are also skilled and experienced in the restoration of antiques and carved detail. Against the Grain can provide fine detail carved patterns for casting moulds. The sample on the left shows the carved detail on a pattern used for a metal handrail post casting. We produce patterns for all types of casting moulds including metal and plaster. |
